Thanks Southwest!

Way back in December, Southwest had a great sale on flights. Denver to SLC was only $25 each way! Can't beat that...so I booked a flight home. I didn't have much room for stuff on this trip since I was taking a blanket, wedding dress slip, and lots of scrapbooking stuff so I decided to pack light. I only took 1 book to read on the way there. A small problem ensued. My flight was delayed by several hours and I finished the book while waiting for my flight and then had nothing else to read or do. I did get some good people watching time in however.

That night we went to an open house for my cousin Carly who was getting married. It was fun to see some family I haven't seen a while.

Friday morning we had a girls shopping trip to Plato's Closet and the DI. Oh how I love shopping with my sisters. I took a few pictures, but I forgot to take one of us a the DI. We had 2 shopping carts overflowing with items for each other. We have a great system worked out. We sort out everything into piles and then some try on and others wait outside and hang up all the "rejects". Some things get passed from dressing room to dressing room depending on who we think it will fit and usually half of what you take in the room, ends up with someone else.

Caleb was super happy

I found some awesome Richard Scary books (which Ryan loves) at the DI. My favorite one is Going Places. It has stories about all different countries and how people live. Abby loved looking through these for Lowly Worm. She apparently loves Lowly Worm.

Part 2, 3 and 4 of the trip still to come...

Family and Sisters

It's been forever since I've written. Hopefully I can write about the fun we've had the past 6 weeks that includes 2 trips to Utah (neither of them for Christmas) and a complete remodel of the medical records office at my work. Going home twice in 4 weeks has been a blast. Makes me remember just how much fun I have with my family and especially my sisters.

I didn't know my own strength

Ryan was impressed with my strength. We decided to switch our mattress for the one downstairs to see if it helped Ryan sleep better. He was absolutely astonished and amazed when he got home from work and saw that I pushed the queen mattress up the stairs by myself. I was breathing hard by the end, but I got it up those stairs ALL BY MYSELF. And it was not an easy task.
