I want my shot in the behind

Please sing the lyrics below to this song...

Oh where, oh where has my crockpot cookbook gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
I sent it to mom who gave it to Cresy
Oh where, oh where can it be?

Oh where, oh where has my crockpot cookbook gone?
Oh where, oh where can it be?
With my sister in Logan all safe and sound,
I hope that's where it will be.

Of course tomorrow it is supposed to be in the high 70's, maybe low 80's and Sunday is supposed to be really warm - like in the 90's. For whatever reason, the weather does not want us to go to the waterpark on Saturday. So things are progressing with the house. The bank asked the seller for their closing costs which means at least they are moving forward on it.

This week I went crazy with sewing some projects. Mostly flannel blankets. I was low on girl blankets so I started one and ended up cutting out and making about 10. Then I made about 30 random burp clothes/rags like I made for Abby/Caroline. It kept me busy this week and it felt nice to craft again.

I got a shot this week. Normally I get the shot in my behind, but this time, the nurse stuck it in my right thigh. It hurt way worse and my leg is still sore 2 days later. I insist on shots in the behind from now on.
There is a gym at Ryan's work and he has been going after work. It has been nice for him. He also went and played tennis with a friend from work. He was slightly sore the next day.

Marijuana smoking next door still continues...every day for 15 days now...We can't wait to move:)

Frigid water

Ryan is almost done with his Stage 2 training which means his regular schedule (M-F 7-3) will be ending next week. He will be on his new schedule so our only day off together will be Sunday. I'll probably get a lot of projects done with him gone some nights and Saturdays.

Braden was here in Denver this week on business, so we went down to Denver and met him for dinner. Ryan's parents were also on their way back to California and arrived in time for dinner as well. We went to the Spaghetti Factory in Denver. Let me just put it this way. That food did things to my body that no food has done to me since Ecuador. I'm not sure I will ever be able to eat there again.

Last Saturday we went to the water park. The water was so cold. I could not believe how cold it was. The park was so full. Well the lines for the rides weren't super long, but there was absolutely no where to put our stuff. Every single chair had somebody's towel on it. There was no lawn to sit down on. People were just sitting in the walkways. We found a part of a picnic table and put our stuff there. We had fun, but the water was so cold. Denver is just colder! We found a house we like. We might have some news for you all next week.

PJ's all day long

It has been interesting unpacking. I hadn’t found the hair blow dryer so I just stuck my head out the window on the way to church. I never even saw a box that said “Iron” so I told Ryan to not wrinkle his shirts. (I eventually did find the iron in a kitchen box). Last week I just could not unpack. I put my hangers in rainbow order in the closet and was not motivated to do more. I don’t leave the house, so some days I wear my PJ’s all day (yes dad, ALL DAY LONG!!) Ryan’s method was in the morning he would pull a shirt out of a bag and a pair of pants and when he came home, he would hang them up. We finally unpacked our clothes and hung stuff up and the dresser now actually has clothing articles instead of random stuff that I shoved in there during the move.

My computers came, the Internet got set up and I started working from home. My alarm goes off at 7:30am I literally roll out of bed and come downstairs to work. It is nice. Although we are going to buy me an office chair. I have been sitting on a unpadded table chair and that isn’t the most comfortable thing for 8 hours a day.

We went out with a realtor this week to look at houses. We have figured out that we don’t to live in the area we live in now. It was quite disappointing our first trip. The houses we looked at online and thought were good were in really bad neighborhoods. So now we have adjusted our price range and location and what we want.
